The countdown to Mother's Day has begun, on the bookshelves, Mommy books are giving a new insight into changing parenting styles. Motherhood books are changing the narrative. We are witnessing a new wave of mommy authors, actor Esha Deol Takhtani's book Amma Mia is an intelligent, engaging writing narrative that brings in new thinking about motherhood with her experiences. Young mothers are embracing the messier side of motherhood and giving direct advise. Celebrity mothers are writing their Mommy diaries into books -- Sarah Turner's The Unmumsy Mum Diary, became a blogging sensation when she started writing about her experiences of motherhood with eye-watering honesty; Giovanna Fletcher's Happy Mum, Happy Baby racked up more than 170,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel, her book was No1 in the non-fiction chart for two weeks running. Mommies books are not only giving great advise but also becoming the new success stories. With ample mommy advise on blogs and books, how do you pick out the best one? "I just go with the best advise that suits my lifestyle and kids. There's so much advise out there, you need to see what works for you. For me, simple things work. I go online, visit stories on Instagram, pick whatever goes with my rhythm of life, I don't mindlessly follow it. For me, Motherhood has got 360 degree transformation in me -- from a girl to woman to responsible motherhood, it has opened new dimensions in my life. I have got a different kind of confidence, a feeling that lot of things can be conquered. There's a different strength that every woman gets after embracing motherhood," says actor Esha Deol. New parenting manuals are embracing the downright funny and practical side of having kids - so we see super mothers bringing up their kids in the best way possible. There's everyday wit, humour and funny situations used as storytelling and parenting tips. "I believe every child should make their own choices. They should be able to judge what is right and wrong. We need to be around as mothers to guide them. My parenting style is different from my mothers, she is the most non-interfering human on this planet. That's why I love and respect her and she loves and respects me and my choices as an adult and mother. We talk and chat about our day to day experiences, we go down memory lane when she was bringing us up. We exchange stories."

In the publishing world, motherhood has officially been deemed a trend that's also because individual experiences of motherhood include a variety of shades. Adds Esha, "Modern motherhood brings new challenges -- Right now, it's all about keeping my child restricted from getting too much into ipad -- playing football on the ipad rather than going to a football ground. Choosing the information we get on social media... I like to keep my motherhood style simple. I let my daughter watch cartoon for a limited period of time, I watch it with her. I don't want my kids to be glued to ipad. Life has taught me to believe in ourselves, whatever happens is for the best. It's also important to be down to earth and have gratitude, it's something I want to pass on to them." Mommy Rules: Strength: We need to be strong and have the guts to face situations life throws our way. Always know that tomorrow will be a better day. Life is meant to lived and lived to the fullest. Nothing can be always great, there will be good, wonderful days days and bad, sorrowful days, we need to be very strong that's one thing I learnt from seeing my mother. Having a strong mind is very important. Stay Inspired: When I read a story of someone inspiring on social media, someone who has come out of a tough situation as a winner I get inspired. Having a positive outlook takes effort, it takes experience. Tough stories always inspire and help you become stronger. I chant everyday. I do hanuman chalisa everyday, it gives me immense strength and power. Daily optimism: See a brighter day. Deal with your negative thoughts, and create slow positive thoughts. This is a exercise

one should do everyday. Advise from her mom: To constantly be doing something concrete, something creative with yourself. We come from a creative background, it is impossible to sit at home idle. That's the constant advise my mom is giving me.
